Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RetainAI (“RetainAI”, “we”, “us”), a service that predicts when customers of Shopify beauty brands are due to reorder and helps merchants send timely refill reminders. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. The service

RetainAI connects to your Shopify store, analyses order history, and helps you send reminders by email and, where enabled, WhatsApp. Predictions are estimates and are not guaranteed to be accurate or to produce any particular revenue.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including team members you invite.
• You must be authorised to connect the Shopify store you link.

3. Your customers’ data and messaging

You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consent to message your customers, and for complying with applicable laws on email and WhatsApp marketing. You must honour unsubscribe requests. You must not use RetainAI to send spam or unlawful content.

4. Plans, billing and renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Our payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who handles checkout, invoicing and applicable taxes. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other merchants’ data, interfere with its operation, or reverse engineer it.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep RetainAI available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update features and these terms; material changes will be communicated by email or in the app.

7. Termination

You may stop using RetainAI at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. On request we will delete your account data (see our Privacy Policy).

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
